Trailmech hubs are produly Ukranian-made. Despite the conflict in their home country they are still producing premium hubs!
Their small team of experienced engineers, manufacturing experts and supply chain gurus have come up with a unique ratchet system called The Vortex. Which uses two interlocking rings with helically cut teeth, similar to Chris King. This provides a theoretical 6° of engagement and also increases the contact surface area engagement. Meaning that the harder you pedal, the more securely the two rings lock together.
In addtion, their hub shells are made from sturdy 7075 Alloy and use high quality enduro bearings for smooth rolling and low friction!
The XCR is highly suited to XCO and XCM racing.
